....price for Damascus steel. The sheath is especially well-made, although the pattern stamped into the leather is not deeply etched. This knife is a handful; its construction is weighty. There are some metalwork flaws mainly with the handle and tang area, but nothing too disappointing. The knife appears to be handmade, but was all the fabrication done in Portland? Overall, the knife I received was acceptable. Now to get it sharp.
